We did the two day Triglav summit tour. We went up on Day One in around 6 hours, adding and extending breaks to accommodate the group. Then we summitted for sunrise on Day Two which was a fantastic idea. Then if was a little less than four hours down. Grad provided and an overview of how to use it. Krederica hut was huge and quite basic, but you’re there for the hike not the hut. We felt great having such an experienced and confident guide in Jakob; could’ve done it alone but so happy we didn’t. Overall, fully recommend hiking Triglav, using Triglav Tours, and doing any hike with Jakob as the guide. ⭐️

Jakob was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable and confident, clearly comfortable on the mountain, personable, attentive to the group… we all developed a fun rapport quickly, joking and chatting along the way. He was great about reading the group too and making changes when we needed it. We went up on Day One in around 6 hours, adding and extending breaks to accommodate, changing up the pace as needs changed. Then we summitted for sunrise on Day Two which was a fantastic idea of Jakob’s—it gave our legs some time to rest and brought some truly incredible views before the crowds set in on the via ferrata section. Then if was a little less than four hours down. Overall, fully recommend hiking Triglav, using Triglav Tours, and doing any hike with Jakob as the guide. ⭐️
Definitely was nervous for my first via ferrata, and even more so when my stomach became unsettled on the excursion. But Jakob walked us through it all and gave me just enough motivation to think I could make it! Enough self doubt remained to stay focused! Haha The hut had all the necessities, like a hostel, and the hike was gorgeous and tough! Tough enough to truly have the sense of accomplishment at the end! Well worth it! Thank you!!!
We did the 2-day guided Triglav hike and would absolutely recommend the tour. There were three women in our group (my friend and I and a third solo traveler) and we all enjoyed the experience immensely. Our guide, Jakob, was excellent and very helpful as none of us had ever done a via ferrata before and there were varying levels of confidence over the prospect. We had sunny weather both days and ended up climbing Triglav to watch sunrise the second day, which I highly recommend. Overall a great experience!
My tour to Triglav was perfect from start to finish. My guide Luka was so lovely and kind and made sure I was okay the whole way, as well as pointing out the other mountains and animals along the way. He reassured me when I felt like I was being slow and let me know if we were on track and when we’d have breaks. Booking with Triglav Tours was so easy and the day before Luka was I contact to go over pick up times. He brought hiking poles for me just in case and I was so grateful he did! I couldn’t have wished for a better 2 days and the sunrise summit was a moment I will never forget. Words can’t express how grateful I am and how amazing the experience was!
What a wonderful 3-day hut tour! Our guide Jakob picked us up in the morning near Bled and brought us back there afterward. The first day pushed my tired legs to their limits during the ascent, but after that, everything went smoothly. A very beautiful and varied via ferrata to the summit! Jakob handled everything brilliantly due to his years of experience and high fitness: he recognized dangers in time, communicated calmly and relaxed, and found a solution for each of our concerns, even if that sometimes meant two backpacks... :). It was just so much fun. The nature is breathtaking, and we encountered some animals. I will cherish the pictures in my heart for a long time, thank you!
Absolutely unforgettable experience! Everything went super smoothly, from booking and interactions with the Triglav Tours office folks to my return home. Our guide, Jakob, was a wonderful young man, congenial, friendly, kind, good listener, funny, patient, experienced and helpful. He picked everyone up in the morning. He gave us useful tips at the onset of the hike. He knew exactly at what kind of pace we should be walking to make it to Triglavski dom na Kredarici, where we had a lunch break. He figured out exactly when we should start the actual climb so as to avoid the rain and make it back to the hut on time for dinner. He demonstrated how to use the ferrata set properly for the climb and guided us up and down the summit without a hitch. We had a perfect weather for the ascent and the following day we started the descent early enough, again, to avoid getting rained on. Finally, Jakob dropped each one of the four of us in the tour group at our home or hotel (wherever others stayed at the time). I am sincerely grateful for this tour and would most highly recommend it to everyone who is ready for a good physical and mental challenge because, let me be clear — participants must have enough stamina and not fear heights.
We can’t express how much we love our guide, Luka! He is exceptionally well-organized and experienced(having climbed Triglav since he was just 11, impressive). He managed our expectations and kept us updated on the weather conditions, pace, and rest points, so we always knew how we were progressing, even as first-time Triglav climbers. Thanks to his professionalism, we had the perfect timing and enjoyed the best possible moment on Triglav. We have seen the ibex, cattle, rainbow, sunrise… This is truly one of our most unforgettable experiences in Slovenia!
We did the two day Triglav tour. Our Guide was Jakob and he was excellent. He taught us a lot about Slovenia and he also cared a lot about the area which was nice to see. He kept us safe, encouraged us and he had good humour. We hiked up to the Krederica Hut and it took us 4 hours. Food there was great! We decided to go for the summit the next morning and it was amazing. Not as intimidating as it looks and totally safe with the via ferrata equipment and a good Guide.
Had the best time on my 1 day hike up Triglav! It was beautiful, my guide Gorazd was friendly and very organized. We started the drive from Bled at 2am since there was rain in the forecast for 12pm. We made it to the summit about 1 hour before the clouds came in and blocked the view. Perfect timing! Speaking with the team over email was also great and they helped me get something booked last minute. Highlight of my trip to Slovenia and maybe of my whole 9 weeks in Europe. If you have the stamina I recommend the 1 day trek. We spent about 11 hours actually hiking but the trail isn’t very demanding.
Had an amazing day with Uroš. He was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Even though he had a child due a few days before we did the climb he was super relaxed and lots of fun to talk to. Made me feel very comfortable the entire time and had lots of information about the location and different history of the area. 10/10 would recommend and a very heartfelt thank you from me for making sure I was safe and we completed the day. I hope one day you can make it to Alaska my friend :)
Our trip this past August was one that we will never forget. Jakub was a fantastic guide who always kept our spirits up, especially with the via ferata. It was our first time climbing a mountain and he kept checking in on us to make sure we were doing ok. 10/10 would recommend!!
A fantastic 3 day self guided Hut to Hut hike around Triglav National Park in Slovenia. We experienced a full range of weather which made it an unforgettable trip. The organisation and back up support with GPS maps etc was excellent. Hut staff were friendly and very happy to give advice and suggestions on the routes and directions. Would recommend.
I went on the Triglav Winter tour with a friend, and guided by Klemen, in December 2023. The hike was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful views and an exciting climb up to the top. Klemen was incredbily helpful with any questions we had beforehand, and he was a wonderful guide all the way up. This hike was the best part of our Slovenia trip!! Thanks Klemen!
Excellent experience with Triglav Tours and especially my guide Bine! I did the 1 night/2 day hike up Triglav in mid October and everything exceeded my expectations. Bine's a legend - very knowledgeable, friendly, and confident in assessing the groups experience levels. He had to spend a bit more time with a member of our party who needed rope assistance on some parts of the climb and the extra work he had to put in didn't slow us down at all, very professional. Would definitly book a tour again, cheers!
I went on a 2 day tour with Luka and Luka. We were very fortunate with the weather but despite that both Luka’s were exceptional. Could not recommend them more highly. Ultimate professionals. The organisation from Tina to the guides was first rate. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them for future adventures. 😃
I completed my Triglav 2 days tour in September of 2023 starting at Rudno Polje and it was the best experience of this year summer season. Miha is quite a professional and intelligent guide who perfectly estimates the strengths and weaknesses of the team he guides, weather forecast and other circumstances like how dense would be expected traffic at via ferrata sections on the way out and back and to plan the tour accordingly. Not to mention he is a wonderful interlocutor with a deep knowledge of the area and mountains in general. I'd definitely recommend both the company and the guide.
Exceptional “Panorama 3 day Hike to Pokjuka Plateau” October 6-8. Stayed first night at Hotel Jelka (which I highly recommend) because Blejska hut was fully booked. The hotel is a nice option as it has been fully renovated and is close to the hut but offers hot showers and a private room! Second night was at Uskovnica hut which could use updating but offers lots of outdoor patio space, hot & cold running water and indoor flush toilets, much appreciated. It is accessible to day hikers so busy mid afternoon on a sunny Sunday! My guide Klemen, was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, helpful and kind! Every detail of our route was carefully planned to make the experience perfect for me. Assistance was generously offered and accepted through rough scree coming down from the shoulder. Pace and snack breaks were set to meet my needs exactly and Klemen is a super friendly person. I was alerted about dangerous karst crevices and places where there were steep steps and tricky spots to navigate. All of which made my experience stress-free and fun, as well as extremely safe. I can’t find enough words to express how much I recommend Triglav Tours and particularly my guide Klemen Gerbec. Triglav National Park is spectacular- don’t miss it!
This was fantastic 2days of mountaineering. The gide Miha was an expert in clamming his knowledge was unsurpassed.Very helpful and kind .Our team made ii to the top and back to the Kredarica in 8 hours with almost 1700M elevation gain The Triglav Tours and Miha -Alpine Gide are highly recommended.
My friends and I did a 3 day hut-to-hut hike in Triglav National Park this summer and loved it! Our guide, Bine, was very knowledgeable and provided necessary equipment and fun facts through the hike. We really enjoyed the via ferrata experience and we were happy to have someone guide us through the more technical aspects. The overnights in the huts were a blast with our guide and the other girls on our tour as well. Great way to see Triglav National park and meet new people! I cannot recommend Triglav tours enough!!
Diese Bergtour mit unserem Bergführer Luka (ein Profi!) war ein beeindruckendes Erlebnis. Die Gesamtorganisation war gut, das Zeitmanagement von Luka (wir haben den Gipfel 7 Minuten vor Sonnenaufgang stressfrei und ohne Zeitdruck erreicht) top. Der Klettersteig war einfacher als erwartet. Bei einer normal guten körperlichen Verfassung mit etwas Ausdauer und Trittsicherheit macht diese Tour viel Freude.
My friend and I went with Triglav Tours for a 3 day, 2 night hike this summer and had the most amazing time!! Our guide, Bine, was awesome and had lots of cool facts to share about the area we were hiking. Additionally, my friend and I had not completed such a technical hike before and the guide and other guests were very patient with us and encouraging, ensuring we felt safe the entire time. The overnights were also such a fun way to get to know Bine, the other guests, and other hikers as well. Cannot recommend Triglav tours enough!!!
We had a lovely hike today with our guide Klemen. He personalized the tour on our needs and interests, so that we saw places we wouldn't without his experience. The hike was a little bit slippery after the rain from the last days and it went a lot upwards, but it was totally worth it! Thanks again :)
My Triglav Tours experience was fantastic. The woman who coordinated everything, Tina, was responsive and made sure I got the experience I was looking for. She was always upbeat and helpful in all correspondence. I did the 3-day Triglav trek with one other participant and our guide, Luka. Luka was down-to-earth, super knowledgeable, and fun to be around. He made such wonderful observations about the landscape, the flora, and the fauna, which made the experience so much more authentic and meaningful. It's clear that he has a deep connection to and appreciation for the place he grew up exploring. The weather was not on our side, and it rained a good amount of the time. But it didn't matter. It was mysterious and peaceful and beautiful to be away from crowds exploring the mountains. And we were in safe hands all the way. The experience left me wanting to return to the Julian Alps as soon as possible, but for a longer trip next time! I highly recommend working with Triglav Tours for your adventure travels around Slovenia.
I took the two-day trip to Triglav and it was an amazing experience. Communication with the company in advance to the trip was super helpful. We were even more lucky in that we had Klemen as our guide on day 1, and Luca on day 2. Both were very knowledgeable not only about practical issues related to hiking/climbing, but also about their knowledge of the mountains, the geography, local wildlife, mushroom harvesting, ... (you name it). The best part was that Luka took us to the summit before the sun got up. Climbing Triglav by itself is already an experience, but starting in the dark and experiencing sunrise while going up, it doesn't get any better than that!
Thank you for this breathtaking and fabulous hiking adventure in Slovenia. We loved every minute and highly recommend Hut to Hut Hiking Europe. Fantastic experience! Our guide Jan was so knowledgeable and thoughtful and we truly appreciated his expertise and very much enjoyed his company. We are already looking forward to planning our next adventure!
Thank you Triglav Tours for organising two fantastic days hiking in the Triglav National Park with Jan. We walked the Seven Lakes hike and Triglav view high on two separate days, from our base in Bled. Jan was a fabulous guide, providing great support for the hike and lots of excellent information and local knowledge about Slovenia and the Triglav region. He also created a couple of unexpected but wonderful extra treats for us, including a fabulous cheese and butter making workshop with a friend from one of the high meadows. He went above and beyond our expectations with his support and the time spent with us on both days, providing a really personal and memorable experience.
We could not have had a better time with Triglav Tours & our tour guide Jan. We had 2 serious days hiking in the Seven Lakes area & near Triglav Peak at the end of May which required crossing some deep snow drifts. Stunningly spectacular scenery with an expert flexible guide who kept us safe at all times. Jan went above & beyond in his role as a guide including arranging attending a cheese making workshop in a local farm on the way home. I could not recommend more highly.
We got a bit of a bug for mountains after hiking up Toubkal in Morocco and wanted another challenge. We picked Triglav as it offered an opportunity to get some 'real climbing' as you approach the summit. As a family of 6 ranging in age from 25 to 55 we had a fantastic time, this is a great mountain to take on with some breath taking moments and stunning scenery. The people at Triglav Tours could not have been more helpful, a pleasure to do business with from start to finish, we would recommend them 100%. Communication was great, they arranged everything from hut accommodation to a top guide, Luka, whose knowledge of the mountains kept you mostly away from the summer crowds, these are the people to book with. Slovenia is a truly beautiful place with friendly people from all over Europe sharing a common interest in trekking and the outdoors, if this is you just book it now!

I cannot recommend Triglav Tours and my guide Luka enough. Luka was an absolutely fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable about the area, friendly, and especially helpful at guiding me through the via ferrata portion of our hike. Everything went seamlessly with memories to last a lifetime.
We had a great experience with our film crew accompanied by the guides Luka & Luka. Also the contact before our trip with Lan and Eva was excellent. They could answer all our questions and during the trip everything was well executed. The only thing is we were booked in the hut dormitories with double bunkbeds, but this was a bit awkward as colleagues. Luckily we could reserve some extra beds on the spot.
It was a great experience. Luka was a wonderful guide, trying to establish a pace adapted to everyone, sharing interesting information about the surroundings, recomending things to do in the next days of our trip, very patience with all of us, and always with a smile in his face. We highly recommend the experience and always ask for Luka as your guide :) Finally, the views from Triglav summit are breath-taking.
We had a fantastic time on this expedition and our guide Zeno was great. Both days are physically demanding but you do not need to be an expert. We always felt safe during the more technical climbing bit, and again you do not need experience to do this, but the peak looks quite intimidating! You can get lunch and dinner at the end of the first day at the hut, and also lunch on the second day. Be sure to pack winter gear like gloves, warm jacket, waterproof, good shoes/boots, even during the summer months. Communication with the tour company and the guide were both quick. Great fun!
I would definitely recommend Triglav Tours. They were very helpful with advice in planning and also very good at helping out during the trip. When we had to change plans due to very bad weather, they helped sort out new accommodation and refunded any costs the next day. There was never any problem with bookings or transfers across our holiday. They are also available on emergency phone 24/7. The guide we had for a couple of days was experienced and also very friendly.
Triglav tours did a fantastic job from start to finish. The guide was very good and also friendly. When the weather scuppered our plans, Triglav tours sorted out additional accommodation and were very quick to refund costs. They answered a number of questions before and during the visit, usually within a few minutes via WhatsApp. I would highly recommend.
I had an amazing experience doing the 2-day Triglav overnight hike! We hiked to the hut on the first day, rested and spent an overnight at Kredarici hut, and then had a sunrise climb up to the summit the next morning. I felt very supported throughout the climb- many thanks to Jakob for being such a great tour leader and to my fellow group mates for such a fun time. Highly recommend!
We did the 2 day Triglav climb. Our Guide was Jakob and he was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and he kept us safe, set a good pace and brought good humour. He taught us a lot about Slovenia. The climb to the top of Triglav was an amazing experience and highly recommended.
The Triglav climb was challenging, exhilerating and amazingly picturesque.Our guide, Luka, was very professional, friendly and attentive( when needed) It was a great experience! Only criticism is the Krederica hut desperately needs updating. Thank you Triglav Tours!!!!
The weather unfortunately meant a change of plans, but my guide, Andraž, came up with excellent alternative suggestions. The team answering my initial query and all my follow up questions since have been excellent (and they responded really quickly). The guide book for the original self-guided plan was detailed and provided helpful suggestions for restaurants and sights to see. Overall it's been excellent!
Hiking with Triglav Tours was a great experience. Before the tour, I sent several emails with questions and Sara (or someone else in the office) took the time to answer each one helping me prepare for the hike. Sara and Jakob were wonderful guides, you could tell they both experienced and that they enjoyed their job. This was a challenging hike with a couple of 9+ mile days (and quite a bit of uphill ... straight uphill). Sara and Jakob chose a route that best suited our group. The scenery along the route was spectacular! I had never hiked via ferrata before and didn't know what to expect so at first I was a little apprehensive. Sara encouraged me and helped me feel comfortable during the whole experience. I felt it was a great accomplishment to reach the summit! Overall, climbing Triglav was a challenging, yet great experience!
We did the three day Mt Triglav tour, and it was fantastic - worth taking the extra day to see the Seven Lakes Valley - and we had a great swim in Lake Bohinj after finishing the hike. We had done multi-day hikes in the mountains before but not via Ferrata, and found the trip a good level of challenge: physically stretching, but we were never put too far out of our comfort zone. Luka was a great guide - friendly and full of interesting local knowledge.

We came to TriglavTours as customers of another of Klemen’s businesses, Walking Holidays Slovenia, with whom we’d booked the Hike and Bike tour (highly recommended). Triglav Tours was the vehicle through which our hiking guide, Jan, was booked. If you are thinking you don’t need a guide to go on some waymarked walks, think again! Having a guide was the best decision we made - even though we were just doing 1 day hikes - and Jan was a total star. He tested our capabilities in the nicest way, was unfailingly patient with my going slowly, took us to places we never would have ventured on our own and helped us achieve things we wouldn’t have thought possible. Jan went way beyond the basic brief - he is genuinely committed to giving guests the best possible experience they can have from their visit. He varied start times (with our agreement) to ensure we got the best weather conditions and (in a non-fussy way) made sure we were always safe. We knew what each stage would involve, and refreshment stops came at just the right moments. He drove us to other places of interest post-hike so that we could see as much of the region as possible. Jan has a huge knowledge of the mountains and tons of experience, but also great people skills. So no worries about forced conversation or prattling guides - he is a genuinely interesting person to spend time with. We came away knowing a lot more about the mountains, the region and life in Slovenia. Highly recommended!

My wife, son and I completed a 5-day privately guided hike in late August through the beautiful Julian Alps. Our guide Jan was amazing.....with rain of 3 out of 5 days, we were still able to hike every day (including an epic 11-mile hike on the last day) and think we ended up with an even better trip than originally planned! He was constantly checking the weather and pivoting us to different areas. Not originally planned was a hike in the wine region in which we visited a family owned (and family run) vineyard and sat with the owner drinking wine and talking about family and life. It was really great......and Jan made this happen. Slovenia and the Julian Alps are absolutely stunning, the people are wonderful, the mountain huts are an incredible experience and I couldn't rate this trip any higher. Thank you, Jan and thank you, Triglav Tours.
It was my first hike and it was just brilliant. Despite 1+m deep snow and all lakes frozen I felt absolutely satisfied. Sašo the guide provided all needed equipment and made everything for our hike to be safe and fun. We even saw a few deer! Great experience, highly recommend.

This three day hike was breath takingly beautiful! Diverse and stunning landscapes, with Klemens expert knowledge of the land, its history and culture blew me away :) I was a little apprehensive about my first solo trip, but from the first second was made to feel welcome and at ease. TOTALLY recommend, Thank you Klemen & Hut to Hut! Unforgettable experience :)
Highly recommend Triglav tours. Our booking in June 23 was very last minute(2 days before!). Tina was very prompt and helpful over email in confirming our booking. Mitje was our guide for the 2 day Triglav hike form Krma valley. It was an incredible first experience of Alpine hiking and via Ferrata just before the busy summer season started. This company was slightly more expensive than competitors but worth it for professionalism, excellent communication as short notice and high quality guides.

We absolutely loved this trip, a real adventure. It was so well organised for us. From the first contact with our enquiry, video call to discuss our trip in detail and organising the full itinerary. The app with all the details and route maps was excellent and we used in constantly to ensure we were on the correct route. It was so accurate as soon as we went off course. I did a 2-day Triglav hike with Triglav Tours last week. Our guide Andraž was excellent - really thoughtful, knowledgable and kind. He expertly guided us to the summit and was good company along the way! I'd definitely look up Triglav tours if I return to Slovenia for more hiking.
We booked a trip with Triglav Tours to climb Mt Triglav at the end of May/early June. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions we were unable to hike Triglav, instead our guide, Matija, planned some alternative routes for two days’ hiking/climbing. It was an absolutely unforgettable two days. Matija was fantastic - the routes he had planned were just the right side of challenging and offered an incredible experience of hiking in Slovenia. Triglav Tours were also hugely helpful in the organisation of the trip and admin aspects. I would 100% recommend Triglav Tours as an agency and Matija as a guide and will definitely be doing a trip with them again.
Triglav organised a very nice ski tour in the Triglav area in Slovenie. Uros is the most knowledgeable guide, and clearly at ease in guiding in a relaxed, but safe manner. He understood the group dynamic, discussed the options and went out of the way to organise a smooth trip including great restaurant suggestions on the last day. He took into account the changing conditions, and was "alway ON", giving us a very safe feeling. We will be back, thanks. 4 guys from the Netherlands....

When you get to the lakes, alpine villages, and mountain views, you realize how worth it the trek is. The highlight for me was a well-preserved wooden alpine village with free-range cows. The collection of cows grazing and the ringing of the cowbells is serene.

The hike was a one of life’s great experiences and made very enjoyable by our guide Matej. He was great at assessing strengths and weaknesses without being obvious about it and then adapting to them. We climbed up to Triglavski Dom and after a break there we all agreed to push right on to the summit that afternoon, One of us was new to Via Ferrata but Matej was very reassuring and knew just how much advice to give. The views are stunning of course. Later, in the hut, Matej was full of information and liked a chat about anything. I highly recommend Triglav Tours!
We completed the Triglav in a day hike. Had the most amazing experience would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about it. Our guide was extremely helpful and made the whole experience. It’s quite a demanding 1 day hike took us 11 hours and we are both very fit, but totally worth doing if you looking for a challenge.
I would recommend Triglav Tours to anyone visiting Slovenia, it was really easy to book on and I had an incredible day hiking up Triglav! It was a small group of us which made it even more special and Luka who guided us was amazing, he even took us to his favourite swimming spot at the end of the hike which was amazing for aching legs. It was cloudy the day we got to the peak but the views were still amazing and we had a good amount of stops throughout, Luka took some photos so you can just enjoy the experience and challenge. If you are looking for something that is catered to your needs and handled by experts you can absolutely trust this group has what you need. Klemen was an exceptional guide-- very knowledgeable about everything Slovenia and outdoorsy. If you have questions about places, things to do etc. These are the perfect people to ask. Be mindful that weather plays a huge role on how trips are carried out but rest assured they are monitoring these events for you and do their best to plan ahead. Overall, i had a great time, easy going guide, and a wonderful hike.

We did a 7 lakes tour in October and it was really fun! Klemen is a very professional guide with a lot of experience - he did not only show us places that we would probably not have discovered on our own in one day but also told us a lot of interesting things about hiking in Slovenia and hiking in general. The timing was perfect and the tour was very well planned - we even had time to enjoy freshly brewed coffee with some pastry from the local bakery before starting our journey. Five stars, absolutely recommend!
I am so happy I did this 5 day tour across the Julian Alps. It is very diverse and you get to see so much beautiful nature, from high alps on the first part to amazing Soca River and Trenta valley where we stayed for two nights. This part of the country is simply breathtaking. Those two parts of Slovenia are really popular so we met quite a lot of people but on the last part we crossed the Komna valley and it was much quieter and completely different from the rest of the mountains. We had a great guide in our group and he told us all the fun stories and was cheering for us during the hard parts. The organization of the tour was perfect and I think I will come again to Slovenia for more hut to hut hiking.
The Seven Lakes Valley hike was a truly amazing experience! The alpine scenery of mountains throughout the hike was simply stunning especially the crystal clear emerald lakes, absolutely breathtaking! The cosy mountain hut was a lifesaver after a long day’s hike, dinner was hearty and delicious, atmosphere was lively and the beds were warm and comfortable - overall a great experience! What made it all the more enjoyable was being in the safe hands of our brilliant guide, Klemen who was not only very experienced, professional and knowledgeable, but he was also extremely helpful and accommodating. He went out of his way to take care of our needs during the journey. From the start, he was very responsive and proactive in helping us arrange our itinerary in the best way possible to maximise our time there. We also did a private rock climbing session with him after the hike and it was awesome! We definitely enjoyed our time in Slovenia with him and highly recommend going with this company and a private guide like him if you are looking for a customised trip.
The 2 days Triglav tour with a night in Dom Planika was great! The final summit climb wasn't too demanding and the 360° is outstanding. My guide also kept giving me nice insights and background stories about different mountains and outdoor topics, which I really liked. And he was super helpful in helping me planning some other hikes in Triglav NP that I wanted to do on my own later on. Even though I could've done Triglav probbly also without a guide, I'd definitely book the tour again because I appreciated the total package that I received!
Triglav Tours are professional, thorough, and attentive. I highly recommend the 2 day Triglav tour. My guide Klemen was very knowledgable and extremely helpful - from pre walk emails to dropping me off at my hotel in Bled after the hike. A tough hike for a 55 year old with a reasonable fitness level, I wouldn't have been able to achieve it without Klemen and Triglav tours.
I did the Triglav in 1 day tour in August 2021 and can absolutely recommend it! Doing the tour in 1 day is challenging, but doable with good stamina and previous hiking experience. Both reaching the top of Triglav and the starting point back in Karma valley after the descent is extremely rewarding! Before the tour, I had contacted Triglav Tours to ask a few more questions regarding the tour and equipment, which were all answered timely and in detail. In general, I felt very well-advised at all times. Since for me the tour was only a “stop” on a long-distance hike through Slovenia, I decided to rent via ferrata kit, harness and helmet from Triglav Tours and I was very content with the quality of the equipment. The best thing about my Triglav experience was by far my guide Luka! Luka was extremely professional, made a fantastic pace that matched my stamina 100% and gave me useful tips regarding my climbing technique. He could also tell me a lot about mountaineering in Slovenia, the country’s history, culture, geology, food, etc. and provided me with great tips for the rest of my stay. With Luka, I did not only get the best guide I could have imagined but also great company on the way!!!
Klemen, our guide is incredible. I came on a solo backpacking trip during summer in the balkans and had no equipment for hiking whatsoever. Not only did Klemen guide us to the summit and down within a day, he knew the mountain like the back of his hand and was great at setting pace, all while he brought me a fleece, gloves, helmet, harness, poles, long sleeve and windbreaker! Not only, but he picked me up from Ljubljana and also dropped me off at my hotel. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone going to Slovenia

The 7 lake valey hike was really beautiful, not so much challenging and totally rewarding. Incredible views, nice huts with food and drinks along the way, not so many people and possibility to hike with your own pace - these made the hike really an experience of my life. Highly recommend to all beginners and a bit more advanced hikers.
Klemen was an amazing guide! He answered all of our questions ahead of the climb and brought high quality gear for us to use. Klemen made sure to hike at an appropriate pace for us and helped make sure we reached the summit safely when one of us started to battle exhaustion. He also provided us amazing company on the trip, explaining the landscape and rock type as well as helping us get room and board at the mountain hut. This was a really great experience! I decided to take a guided tour of Triglav because I didn't want to go alone and I didn't know the system for sleeping in the huts. Triglav Tours organized EVERYTHING. I was picked up at Bled and the guide was super nice. He gave us a nice briefing, hyped us up for the hike and was really accommodating and helpful throughout the experience. He made sure we stopped when we needed and I felt safe all the time! The group was really nice too, so we had a great time. Triglav felt like such an achievement and the views were out of this world. I recommend this company to everyone who want to "become a real Slovenian" and have a great time in the mountains!
After some insecurities about the weather conditions we decieded to go anyway and we are not sorry. Even without a great view from the top due to clouds the experience was amazing, maybe even better in more misty conditions! A smart choice to choose the guided tour as naviganting Julian Alps in fog is very difficult and were wery happy with our experienced guide who knows Triglav so well.
Starting in a lovely alpine valley we slowly gained some altitude and the views opened up reaching a small pasture with a water spring. Son the terrain became more rugged and it got more alpine feel as well as more chilly air. After reaching the hut we stood before a steep wall - the upper part of Triglav summit. The last part is strenuous via ferrata that is protected very well. After returning from the top, we spent the night in the mountain hut and returned to the valley the next day. We enjoyed every minute of it!
(Also reviewed on Google) 6/5 stars for Jakob and the two-day Triglav tour we did last week. Our tour was a group of three (me, my friend, and a third that joined solo) and we had a blast. We did the two day Triglav summit tour. We went up on Day One in around 6 hours, adding and extending breaks to accommodate the group. Then we summitted for sunrise on Day Two which was a fantastic idea. Then if was a little less than four hours down. Grad provided and an overview of how to use it. Krederica hut was huge and quite basic, but you’re there for the hike not the hut. We felt great having such an experienced and confident guide in Jakob; could’ve done it alone but so happy we didn’t. Overall, fully recommend hiking Triglav, using Triglav Tours, and doing any hike with Jakob as the guide. ⭐️
Definitely was nervous for my first via ferrata, and even more so when my stomach became unsettled on the excursion. But Jakob walked us through it all and gave me just enough motivation to think I could make it! Enough self doubt remained to stay focused! Haha The hut had all the necessities, like a hostel, and the hike was gorgeous and tough! Tough enough to truly have the sense of accomplishment at the end! Well worth it! Thank you!!!
Absolutely unforgettable experience! Everything went super smoothly, from booking and interactions with the Triglav Tours office folks to my return home. Our guide, Jakob, was a wonderful young man, congenial, friendly, kind, good listener, funny, patient, experienced and helpful. He picked everyone up in the morning. He gave us useful tips at the onset of the hike. He knew exactly at what kind of pace we should be walking to make it to Triglavski dom na Kredarici, where we had a lunch break. He figured out exactly when we should start the actual climb so as to avoid the rain and make it back to the hut on time for dinner. He demonstrated how to use the ferrata set properly for the climb and guided us up and down the summit without a hitch. We had a perfect weather for the ascent and the following day we started the descent early enough, again, to avoid getting rained on. Finally, Jakob dropped each one of the four of us in the tour group at our home or hotel (wherever others stayed at the time). I am sincerely grateful for this tour and would most highly recommend it to everyone who is ready for a good physical and mental challenge because, let me be clear — participants must have enough stamina and not fear heights.
We can’t express how much we love our guide, Luka! He is exceptionally well-organized and experienced(having climbed Triglav since he was just 11, impressive). He managed our expectations and kept us updated on the weather conditions, pace, and rest points, so we always knew how we were progressing, even as first-time Triglav climbers. Thanks to his professionalism, we had the perfect timing and enjoyed the best possible moment on Triglav. We have seen the ibex, cattle, rainbow, sunrise… This is truly one of our most unforgettable experiences in Slovenia!
Had an amazing day with Uroš. He was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Even though he had a child due a few days before we did the climb he was super relaxed and lots of fun to talk to. Made me feel very comfortable the entire time and had lots of information about the location and different history of the area. 10/10 would recommend and a very heartfelt thank you from me for making sure I was safe and we completed the day. I hope one day you can make it to Alaska my friend :)
A fantastic 3 day self guided Hut to Hut hike around Triglav National Park in Slovenia. We experienced a full range of weather which made it an unforgettable trip. The organisation and back up support with GPS maps etc was excellent. Hut staff were friendly and very happy to give advice and suggestions on the routes and directions. Would recommend.
Excellent experience with Triglav Tours and especially my guide Bine! I did the 1 night/2 day hike up Triglav in mid October and everything exceeded my expectations. Bine's a legend - very knowledgeable, friendly, and confident in assessing the groups experience levels. He had to spend a bit more time with a member of our party who needed rope assistance on some parts of the climb and the extra work he had to put in didn't slow us down at all, very professional. Would definitly book a tour again, cheers!
I completed my Triglav 2 days tour in September of 2023 starting at Rudno Polje and it was the best experience of this year summer season. Miha is quite a professional and intelligent guide who perfectly estimates the strengths and weaknesses of the team he guides, weather forecast and other circumstances like how dense would be expected traffic at via ferrata sections on the way out and back and to plan the tour accordingly. Not to mention he is a wonderful interlocutor with a deep knowledge of the area and mountains in general. I'd definitely recommend both the company and the guide.
This was fantastic 2days of mountaineering. The gide Miha was an expert in clamming his knowledge was unsurpassed.Very helpful and kind .Our team made ii to the top and back to the Kredarica in 8 hours with almost 1700M elevation gain The Triglav Tours and Miha -Alpine Gide are highly recommended.
Diese Bergtour mit unserem Bergführer Luka (ein Profi!) war ein beeindruckendes Erlebnis. Die Gesamtorganisation war gut, das Zeitmanagement von Luka (wir haben den Gipfel 7 Minuten vor Sonnenaufgang stressfrei und ohne Zeitdruck erreicht) top. Der Klettersteig war einfacher als erwartet. Bei einer normal guten körperlichen Verfassung mit etwas Ausdauer und Trittsicherheit macht diese Tour viel Freude.
I took the two-day trip to Triglav and it was an amazing experience. Communication with the company in advance to the trip was super helpful. We were even more lucky in that we had Klemen as our guide on day 1, and Luca on day 2. Both were very knowledgeable not only about practical issues related to hiking/climbing, but also about their knowledge of the mountains, the geography, local wildlife, mushroom harvesting, ... (you name it). The best part was that Luka took us to the summit before the sun got up. Climbing Triglav by itself is already an experience, but starting in the dark and experiencing sunrise while going up, it doesn't get any better than that!
We could not have had a better time with Triglav Tours & our tour guide Jan. We had 2 serious days hiking in the Seven Lakes area & near Triglav Peak at the end of May which required crossing some deep snow drifts. Stunningly spectacular scenery with an expert flexible guide who kept us safe at all times. Jan went above & beyond in his role as a guide including arranging attending a cheese making workshop in a local farm on the way home. I could not recommend more highly.
We got a bit of a bug for mountains after hiking up Toubkal in Morocco and wanted another challenge. We picked Triglav as it offered an opportunity to get some 'real climbing' as you approach the summit. As a family of 6 ranging in age from 25 to 55 we had a fantastic time, this is a great mountain to take on with some breath taking moments and stunning scenery. The people at Triglav Tours could not have been more helpful, a pleasure to do business with from start to finish, we would recommend them 100%. Communication was great, they arranged everything from hut accommodation to a top guide, Luka, whose knowledge of the mountains kept you mostly away from the summer crowds, these are the people to book with. Slovenia is a truly beautiful place with friendly people from all over Europe sharing a common interest in trekking and the outdoors, if this is you just book it now!
Klemen at Triglav Tours was helpful and professional. Arranged all the details, answered any questions via whtsapp I had before my hike and also he was happy to schedule a call to discuss anything that I may have missed. Prior to the hike I had the guides details - Martin Žumer - who also text and emailed the day before and on the morning of the pickup. Our group was small as it was early season and we all had a brilliant time. Martin explained historical references and got us to the top and back down. I would highly recommend Triglav Tours. They are professional, familiar with the areas and highly experienced when it comes to outdoor activities.

It was my first time on Triglav and I would do it again! I’m not much of a hiker so I thought I will never get there but with Triglav Tour I made it and it was one of the best challenges in my life. Our guide was very patient and kind, he kept a slow pace and he never rushed us. Nature was so beautiful all the way up, and the view was breathtaking. My favourite part was climbing on the peak of Triglav. It wasn’t as dangerous as I thought. The path was very safe and well maintained. I’m so proud of myself for reaching the top of the highest Slovenian mountain thanks to Triglav tour and the amazing guide.
I cannot recommend Triglav Tours and my guide Luka enough. Luka was an absolutely fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable about the area, friendly, and especially helpful at guiding me through the via ferrata portion of our hike. Everything went seamlessly with memories to last a lifetime.
It was a great experience. Luka was a wonderful guide, trying to establish a pace adapted to everyone, sharing interesting information about the surroundings, recomending things to do in the next days of our trip, very patience with all of us, and always with a smile in his face. We highly recommend the experience and always ask for Luka as your guide :) Finally, the views from Triglav summit are breath-taking.
We had a fantastic time on this expedition and our guide Zeno was great. Both days are physically demanding but you do not need to be an expert. We always felt safe during the more technical climbing bit, and again you do not need experience to do this, but the peak looks quite intimidating! You can get lunch and dinner at the end of the first day at the hut, and also lunch on the second day. Be sure to pack winter gear like gloves, warm jacket, waterproof, good shoes/boots, even during the summer months. Communication with the tour company and the guide were both quick. Great fun!
Triglav tours did a fantastic job from start to finish. The guide was very good and also friendly. When the weather scuppered our plans, Triglav tours sorted out additional accommodation and were very quick to refund costs. They answered a number of questions before and during the visit, usually within a few minutes via WhatsApp. I would highly recommend.

We did the three day Mt Triglav tour, and it was fantastic - worth taking the extra day to see the Seven Lakes Valley - and we had a great swim in Lake Bohinj after finishing the hike. We had done multi-day hikes in the mountains before but not via Ferrata, and found the trip a good level of challenge: physically stretching, but we were never put too far out of our comfort zone. Luka was a great guide - friendly and full of interesting local knowledge.
We came to TriglavTours as customers of another of Klemen’s businesses, Walking Holidays Slovenia, with whom we’d booked the Hike and Bike tour (highly recommended). Triglav Tours was the vehicle through which our hiking guide, Jan, was booked. If you are thinking you don’t need a guide to go on some waymarked walks, think again! Having a guide was the best decision we made - even though we were just doing 1 day hikes - and Jan was a total star. He tested our capabilities in the nicest way, was unfailingly patient with my going slowly, took us to places we never would have ventured on our own and helped us achieve things we wouldn’t have thought possible. Jan went way beyond the basic brief - he is genuinely committed to giving guests the best possible experience they can have from their visit. He varied start times (with our agreement) to ensure we got the best weather conditions and (in a non-fussy way) made sure we were always safe. We knew what each stage would involve, and refreshment stops came at just the right moments. He drove us to other places of interest post-hike so that we could see as much of the region as possible. Jan has a huge knowledge of the mountains and tons of experience, but also great people skills. So no worries about forced conversation or prattling guides - he is a genuinely interesting person to spend time with. We came away knowing a lot more about the mountains, the region and life in Slovenia. Highly recommended!
My wife, son and I completed a 5-day privately guided hike in late August through the beautiful Julian Alps. Our guide Jan was amazing.....with rain of 3 out of 5 days, we were still able to hike every day (including an epic 11-mile hike on the last day) and think we ended up with an even better trip than originally planned! He was constantly checking the weather and pivoting us to different areas. Not originally planned was a hike in the wine region in which we visited a family owned (and family run) vineyard and sat with the owner drinking wine and talking about family and life. It was really great......and Jan made this happen. Slovenia and the Julian Alps are absolutely stunning, the people are wonderful, the mountain huts are an incredible experience and I couldn't rate this trip any higher. It was my first hike and it was just brilliant. Despite 1+m deep snow and all lakes frozen I felt absolutely satisfied. Sašo the guide provided all needed equipment and made everything for our hike to be safe and fun. We even saw a few deer! Great experience, highly recommend.

Highly recommend Triglav tours. Our booking in June 23 was very last minute(2 days before!). Tina was very prompt and helpful over email in confirming our booking. Mitje was our guide for the 2 day Triglav hike form Krma valley. It was an incredible first experience of Alpine hiking and via Ferrata just before the busy summer season started. This company was slightly more expensive than competitors but worth it for professionalism, excellent communication as short notice and high quality guides.

Triglav organised a very nice ski tour in the Triglav area in Slovenie. Uros is the most knowledgeable guide, and clearly at ease in guiding in a relaxed, but safe manner. He understood the group dynamic, discussed the options and went out of the way to organise a smooth trip including great restaurant suggestions on the last day. He took into account the changing conditions, and was "alway ON", giving us a very safe feeling. We will be back, thanks. 4 guys from the Netherlands....

I did a private Seven Triglav Lakes tour with Triglav Tours and it was extremely well done. My guide, Klemen, met me at my hotel early in the morning and we transferred over to the trailhead. Klemen was an amazing guide and was very personable. He also provided great overview to the region and gave me the best sense of Slovenian culture, which was especially enjoyable as I had spent a week solo travelling in Slovenia and had not otherwise had the opportunity to speak with anyone from the country. The hike was also very enjoyable. The hike is long, but pleasant throughout. There is some elevation gain and the trail is well-preserved but rocky. I used hiking poles and it made a huge difference. When you get to the lakes, alpine villages, and mountain views, you realize how worth it the trek is. The highlight for me was a well-preserved wooden alpine village with free-range cows. The collection of cows grazing and the ringing of the cowbells is serene.
We completed the Triglav in a day hike. Had the most amazing experience would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about it. Our guide was extremely helpful and made the whole experience. It’s quite a demanding 1 day hike took us 11 hours and we are both very fit, but totally worth doing if you looking for a challenge.
I would recommend Triglav Tours to anyone visiting Slovenia, it was really easy to book on and I had an incredible day hiking up Triglav! It was a small group of us which made it even more special and Luka who guided us was amazing, he even took us to his favourite swimming spot at the end of the hike which was amazing for aching legs. It was cloudy the day we got to the peak but the views were still amazing and we had a good amount of stops throughout, Luka took some photos so you can just enjoy the experience and challenge. Klemen was an exceptional guide-- very knowledgeable about everything Slovenia and outdoorsy. If you have questions about places, things to do etc. These are the perfect people to ask. Be mindful that weather plays a huge role on how trips are carried out but rest assured they are monitoring these events for you and do their best to plan ahead. Overall, i had a great time, easy going guide, and a wonderful hike.

I am so happy I did this 5 day tour across the Julian Alps. It is very diverse and you get to see so much beautiful nature, from high alps on the first part to amazing Soca River and Trenta valley where we stayed for two nights. This part of the country is simply breathtaking. Those two parts of Slovenia are really popular so we met quite a lot of people but on the last part we crossed the Komna valley and it was much quieter and completely different from the rest of the mountains. We had a great guide in our group and he told us all the fun stories and was cheering for us during the hard parts. The organization of the tour was perfect and I think I will come again to Slovenia for more hut to hut hiking.
The 2 days Triglav tour with a night in Dom Planika was great! The final summit climb wasn't too demanding and the 360° is outstanding. My guide also kept giving me nice insights and background stories about different mountains and outdoor topics, which I really liked. And he was super helpful in helping me planning some other hikes in Triglav NP that I wanted to do on my own later on. Even though I could've done Triglav probbly also without a guide, I'd definitely book the tour again because I appreciated the total package that I received!
I did the Triglav in 1 day tour in August 2021 and can absolutely recommend it! Doing the tour in 1 day is challenging, but doable with good stamina and previous hiking experience. Both reaching the top of Triglav and the starting point back in Karma valley after the descent is extremely rewarding! Before the tour, I had contacted Triglav Tours to ask a few more questions regarding the tour and equipment, which were all answered timely and in detail. In general, I felt very well-advised at all times. Since for me the tour was only a “stop” on a long-distance hike through Slovenia, I decided to rent via ferrata kit, harness and helmet from Triglav Tours and I was very content with the quality of the equipment. The best thing about my Triglav experience was by far my guide Luka! Luka was extremely professional, made a fantastic pace that matched my stamina 100% and gave me useful tips regarding my climbing technique. He could also tell me a lot about mountaineering in Slovenia, the country’s history, culture, geology, food, etc. and provided me with great tips for the rest of my stay. With Luka, I did not only get the best guide I could have imagined but also great company on the way!!!

Klemen was an amazing guide! He answered all of our questions ahead of the climb and brought high quality gear for us to use. Klemen made sure to hike at an appropriate pace for us and helped make sure we reached the summit safely when one of us started to battle exhaustion. He also provided us amazing company on the trip, explaining the landscape and rock type as well as helping us get room and board at the mountain hut. After some insecurities about the weather conditions we decieded to go anyway and we are not sorry. Even without a great view from the top due to clouds the experience was amazing, maybe even better in more misty conditions! A smart choice to choose the guided tour as naviganting Julian Alps in fog is very difficult and were wery happy with our experienced guide who knows Triglav so well.
Starting in a lovely alpine valley we slowly gained some altitude and the views opened up reaching a small pasture with a water spring. Son the terrain became more rugged and it got more alpine feel as well as more chilly air. After reaching the hut we stood before a steep wall - the upper part of Triglav summit. The last part is strenuous via ferrata that is protected very well. After returning from the top, we spent the night in the mountain hut and returned to the valley the next day. We enjoyed every minute of it!
6/5 stars for Jakob and the two-day Triglav tour we did last week. Our tour was a group of three (me, my friend, and a third that joined solo) and we had a blast. Jakob was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable and confident, clearly comfortable on the mountain, personable, attentive to the group… we all developed a fun rapport quickly, joking and chatting along the way. He was great about reading the group too and making changes when we needed it. We went up on Day One in around 6 hours, adding and extending breaks to accommodate, changing up the pace as needs changed. Then we summitted for sunrise on Day Two which was a fantastic idea of Jakob’s—it gave our legs some time to rest and brought some truly incredible views before the crowds set in on the via ferrata section. Then if was a little less than four hours down. Overall, fully recommend hiking Triglav, using Triglav Tours, and doing any hike with Jakob as the guide. ⭐️
We did the 2-day guided Triglav hike and would absolutely recommend the tour. There were three women in our group (my friend and I and a third solo traveler) and we all enjoyed the experience immensely. Our guide, Jakob, was excellent and very helpful as none of us had ever done a via ferrata before and there were varying levels of confidence over the prospect. We had sunny weather both days and ended up climbing Triglav to watch sunrise the second day, which I highly recommend. Overall a great experience!
My tour to Triglav was perfect from start to finish. My guide Luka was so lovely and kind and made sure I was okay the whole way, as well as pointing out the other mountains and animals along the way. He reassured me when I felt like I was being slow and let me know if we were on track and when we’d have breaks. Booking with Triglav Tours was so easy and the day before Luka was I contact to go over pick up times. He brought hiking poles for me just in case and I was so grateful he did! I couldn’t have wished for a better 2 days and the sunrise summit was a moment I will never forget. Words can’t express how grateful I am and how amazing the experience was!
What a wonderful 3-day hut tour! Our guide Jakob picked us up in the morning near Bled and brought us back there afterward. The first day pushed my tired legs to their limits during the ascent, but after that, everything went smoothly. A very beautiful and varied via ferrata to the summit! Jakob handled everything brilliantly due to his years of experience and high fitness: he recognized dangers in time, communicated calmly and relaxed, and found a solution for each of our concerns, even if that sometimes meant two backpacks... :). It was just so much fun. The nature is breathtaking, and we encountered some animals. I will cherish the pictures in my heart for a long time, thank you!
We did the two day Triglav tour. Our Guide was Jakob and he was excellent. He taught us a lot about Slovenia and he also cared a lot about the area which was nice to see. He kept us safe, encouraged us and he had good humour. We hiked up to the Krederica Hut and it took us 4 hours. Food there was great! We decided to go for the summit the next morning and it was amazing. Not as intimidating as it looks and totally safe with the via ferrata equipment and a good Guide.
Had the best time on my 1 day hike up Triglav! It was beautiful, my guide Gorazd was friendly and very organized. We started the drive from Bled at 2am since there was rain in the forecast for 12pm. We made it to the summit about 1 hour before the clouds came in and blocked the view. Perfect timing! Speaking with the team over email was also great and they helped me get something booked last minute. Highlight of my trip to Slovenia and maybe of my whole 9 weeks in Europe. If you have the stamina I recommend the 1 day trek. We spent about 11 hours actually hiking but the trail isn’t very demanding.
Our trip this past August was one that we will never forget. Jakub was a fantastic guide who always kept our spirits up, especially with the via ferata. It was our first time climbing a mountain and he kept checking in on us to make sure we were doing ok. 10/10 would recommend!!
I went on the Triglav Winter tour with a friend, and guided by Klemen, in December 2023. The hike was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful views and an exciting climb up to the top. Klemen was incredbily helpful with any questions we had beforehand, and he was a wonderful guide all the way up. This hike was the best part of our Slovenia trip!! Thanks Klemen!
I went on a 2 day tour with Luka and Luka. We were very fortunate with the weather but despite that both Luka’s were exceptional. Could not recommend them more highly. Ultimate professionals. The organisation from Tina to the guides was first rate. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them for future adventures. 😃
Exceptional “Panorama 3 day Hike to Pokjuka Plateau” October 6-8. Stayed first night at Hotel Jelka (which I highly recommend) because Blejska hut was fully booked. The hotel is a nice option as it has been fully renovated and is close to the hut but offers hot showers and a private room! Second night was at Uskovnica hut which could use updating but offers lots of outdoor patio space, hot & cold running water and indoor flush toilets, much appreciated. It is accessible to day hikers so busy mid afternoon on a sunny Sunday! My guide Klemen, was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, helpful and kind! Every detail of our route was carefully planned to make the experience perfect for me. Assistance was generously offered and accepted through rough scree coming down from the shoulder. Pace and snack breaks were set to meet my needs exactly and Klemen is a super friendly person. I was alerted about dangerous karst crevices and places where there were steep steps and tricky spots to navigate. All of which made my experience stress-free and fun, as well as extremely safe. I can’t find enough words to express how much I recommend Triglav Tours and particularly my guide Klemen Gerbec. Triglav National Park is spectacular- don’t miss it!
My friends and I did a 3 day hut-to-hut hike in Triglav National Park this summer and loved it! Our guide, Bine, was very knowledgeable and provided necessary equipment and fun facts through the hike. We really enjoyed the via ferrata experience and we were happy to have someone guide us through the more technical aspects. The overnights in the huts were a blast with our guide and the other girls on our tour as well. Great way to see Triglav National park and meet new people! I cannot recommend Triglav tours enough!!
My friend and I went with Triglav Tours for a 3 day, 2 night hike this summer and had the most amazing time!! Our guide, Bine, was awesome and had lots of cool facts to share about the area we were hiking. Additionally, my friend and I had not completed such a technical hike before and the guide and other guests were very patient with us and encouraging, ensuring we felt safe the entire time. The overnights were also such a fun way to get to know Bine, the other guests, and other hikers as well. Cannot recommend Triglav tours enough!!!
We had a lovely hike today with our guide Klemen. He personalized the tour on our needs and interests, so that we saw places we wouldn't without his experience. The hike was a little bit slippery after the rain from the last days and it went a lot upwards, but it was totally worth it! Thanks again :)
My Triglav Tours experience was fantastic. The woman who coordinated everything, Tina, was responsive and made sure I got the experience I was looking for. She was always upbeat and helpful in all correspondence. I did the 3-day Triglav trek with one other participant and our guide, Luka. Luka was down-to-earth, super knowledgeable, and fun to be around. He made such wonderful observations about the landscape, the flora, and the fauna, which made the experience so much more authentic and meaningful. It's clear that he has a deep connection to and appreciation for the place he grew up exploring. The weather was not on our side, and it rained a good amount of the time. But it didn't matter. It was mysterious and peaceful and beautiful to be away from crowds exploring the mountains. And we were in safe hands all the way. The experience left me wanting to return to the Julian Alps as soon as possible, but for a longer trip next time! Thank you Triglav Tours for organising two fantastic days hiking in the Triglav National Park with Jan. We walked the Seven Lakes hike and Triglav view high on two separate days, from our base in Bled. Jan was a fabulous guide, providing great support for the hike and lots of excellent information and local knowledge about Slovenia and the Triglav region. He also created a couple of unexpected but wonderful extra treats for us, including a fabulous cheese and butter making workshop with a friend from one of the high meadows. He went above and beyond our expectations with his support and the time spent with us on both days, providing a really personal and memorable experience.
Klemen at Triglav Tours was helpful and professional. Arranged all the details, answered any questions via whtsapp I had before my hike and also he was happy to schedule a call to discuss anything that I may have missed. Prior to the hike I had the guides details - Martin Žumer - who also text and emailed the day before and on the morning of the pick up. Our group was small as it was early season nut we all had a brilliant time. Martin explained historical references and got us to the top and back down. I would highly recommend Triglav Tours. They are professional, familiar with the areas and highly experienced when it comes to outdoor activities.

It was my first time on Triglav and I would do it again! I’m not much of a hiker so I thought I will never get there but with Triglav Tour I made it and it was one of the best challenges in my life. Our guide was very patient and kind, he kept a slow pace and he never rushed us. Nature was so beautiful all the way up, and the view was breathtaking. My favourite part was climbing on the peak of Triglav. It wasn’t as dangerous as I thought. The path was very safe and well maintained. I’m so proud of myself for reaching the top of the highest Slovenian mountain thanks to Triglav tour and the amazing guide.
We had a great experience with our film crew accompanied by the guides Luka & Luka. Also the contact before our trip with Lan and Eva was excellent. They could answer all our questions and during the trip everything was well executed. The only thing is we were booked in the hut dormitories with double bunkbeds, but this was a bit awkward as colleagues. Luckily we could reserve some extra beds on the spot.
I would definitely recommend Triglav Tours. They were very helpful with advice in planning and also very good at helping out during the trip. When we had to change plans due to very bad weather, they helped sort out new accommodation and refunded any costs the next day. There was never any problem with bookings or transfers across our holiday. They are also available on emergency phone 24/7. The guide we had for a couple of days was experienced and also very friendly.
I had an amazing experience doing the 2-day Triglav overnight hike! We hiked to the hut on the first day, rested and spent an overnight at Kredarici hut, and then had a sunrise climb up to the summit the next morning. I felt very supported throughout the climb- many thanks to Jakob for being such a great tour leader and to my fellow group mates for such a fun time. Highly recommend!

The weather unfortunately meant a change of plans, but my guide, Andraž, came up with excellent alternative suggestions. The team answering my initial query and all my follow up questions since have been excellent (and they responded really quickly). The guide book for the original self-guided plan was detailed and provided helpful suggestions for restaurants and sights to see. Overall it's been excellent!
Hiking with Triglav Tours was a great experience. Before the tour, I sent several emails with questions and Sara (or someone else in the office) took the time to answer each one helping me prepare for the hike. Sara and Jakob were wonderful guides, you could tell they both experienced and that they enjoyed their job. This was a challenging hike with a couple of 9+ mile days (and quite a bit of uphill ... straight uphill). Sara and Jakob chose a route that best suited our group. The scenery along the route was spectacular! I had never hiked via ferrata before and didn't know what to expect so at first I was a little apprehensive. Sara encouraged me and helped me feel comfortable during the whole experience. I felt it was a great accomplishment to reach the summit! Overall, climbing Triglav was a challenging, yet great experience!

We booked a trip with Triglav Tours to climb Mt Triglav at the end of May/early June. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions we were unable to hike Triglav, instead our guide, Matija, planned some alternative routes for two days’ hiking/climbing. It was an absolutely unforgettable two days. Matija was fantastic - the routes he had planned were just the right side of challenging and offered an incredible experience of hiking in Slovenia. Triglav Tours were also hugely helpful in the organisation of the trip and admin aspects. I would 100% recommend Triglav Tours as an agency and Matija as a guide and will definitely be doing a trip with them again.

The hike was a one of life’s great experiences and made very enjoyable by our guide Matej. He was great at assessing strengths and weaknesses without being obvious about it and then adapting to them. We climbed up to Triglavski Dom and after a break there we all agreed to push right on to the summit that afternoon, One of us was new to Via Ferrata but Matej was very reassuring and knew just how much advice to give. The views are stunning of course. Later, in the hut, Matej was full of information and liked a chat about anything. I highly recommend Triglav Tours!

We did a 7 lakes tour in October and it was really fun! Klemen is a very professional guide with a lot of experience - he did not only show us places that we would probably not have discovered on our own in one day but also told us a lot of interesting things about hiking in Slovenia and hiking in general. The timing was perfect and the tour was very well planned - we even had time to enjoy freshly brewed coffee with some pastry from the local bakery before starting our journey. Five stars, absolutely recommend!
The Seven Lakes Valley hike was a truly amazing experience! The alpine scenery of mountains throughout the hike was simply stunning especially the crystal clear emerald lakes, absolutely breathtaking! The cosy mountain hut was a lifesaver after a long day’s hike, dinner was hearty and delicious, atmosphere was lively and the beds were warm and comfortable - overall a great experience! What made it all the more enjoyable was being in the safe hands of our brilliant guide, Klemen who was not only very experienced, professional and knowledgeable, but he was also extremely helpful and accommodating. He went out of his way to take care of our needs during the journey. From the start, he was very responsive and proactive in helping us arrange our itinerary in the best way possible to maximise our time there. We also did a private rock climbing session with him after the hike and it was awesome! We definitely enjoyed our time in Slovenia with him and highly recommend going with this company and a private guide like him if you are looking for a customised trip.
Triglav Tours are professional, thorough, and attentive. I highly recommend the 2 day Triglav tour. My guide Klemen was very knowledgable and extremely helpful - from pre walk emails to dropping me off at my hotel in Bled after the hike. A tough hike for a 55 year old with a reasonable fitness level, I wouldn't have been able to achieve it without Klemen and Triglav tours.
Klemen, our guide is incredible. I came on a solo backpacking trip during summer in the balkans and had no equipment for hiking whatsoever. Not only did Klemen guide us to the summit and down within a day, he knew the mountain like the back of his hand and was great at setting pace, all while he brought me a fleece, gloves, helmet, harness, poles, long sleeve and windbreaker! Not only, but he picked me up from Ljubljana and also dropped me off at my hotel. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone going to Slovenia

The 7 lake valey hike was really beautiful, not so much challenging and totally rewarding. Incredible views, nice huts with food and drinks along the way, not so many people and possibility to hike with your own pace - these made the hike really an experience of my life. Highly recommend to all beginners and a bit more advanced hikers.
This was a really great experience! I decided to take a guided tour of Triglav because I didn't want to go alone and I didn't know the system for sleeping in the huts. Triglav Tours organized EVERYTHING. I was picked up at Bled and the guide was super nice. He gave us a nice briefing, hyped us up for the hike and was really accommodating and helpful throughout the experience. He made sure we stopped when we needed and I felt safe all the time! The group was really nice too, so we had a great time. Triglav felt like such an achievement and the views were out of this world. I recommend this company to everyone who want to "become a real Slovenian" and have a great time in the mountains!
